And let me tell you, the diet works and you can easily achieve your weight loss goals by following the protocol as it was designed.</p>
<p>But losing just weight and inches is not all the benefits you will receive. I can’t tell you how many times people have contacted me and given me a long list of medications they no longer have to take because of doing this diet.</p>
<p>It’s amazing how much your overall health will improve when you lose the weight. And when you are doing it on the HCG diet you can quickly see these changes and benefits.</p>
<p>For example, many diabetics start the diet and after the first round they get a checkup and their doctor immediately reduces the amount of insulin they are taking because their health improved so much. In some cases their doctor took them off insulin completely. That’s almost as good a cure! And I hear these same stories, straight from the source, again and again for things like high blood pressure, thyroid issues, heart issues, and on and on.</p>
<p>I can also tell you that the diet is working for just about anyone who commits to it and follow the instructions. For example I’ve talked with many people who have had various weight loss surgeries like bariatric surgery, lap band and gastric bypass, who start this diet because even the surgeries couldn’t solve their problems, and the diet works and works well without any dangerous surgery.</p>
<p>While the HCG diet is no “magic pill”, because it does take work, it is probably the closet thing. Can you see why so many people say bad things about the diet? Weight loss companies, weight loss doctors, and diet pill peddlers are all losing hundreds of millions of dollars because they can’t give their bandaid “solutions” and keep their clients paying month after month when they get their weight loss issues completely handled on the HCG diet. That’s another reason why you see negative stories on the news; their sponsors who run commercials pay for the show, and if they are losing money because of diet such as this they aren’t happy, so they influence the stories themselves and get negative press out there. Sound crazy? It really isn’t. You’d be amazed at how much advertising is effecting the way we live our lives because the media is corrupt and “reports” on what they are told to report. It’s all about the money with these people!</p>
<p>But luckily if you are reading this you know better and you now know of a tool that can be a solution for you weight problems.</p>
<p>So instead of looking at just the outside benefits of the diet, do consider the internal and health benefits you will receive. And if you think about it the benefits to your wallet will also be huge when you consider you won’t have to spend so much time going to the doctor and paying for band-aid type medications. Not to mention you will be eating less and having a much more fulfilling time in your life. Of course you may have to buy some new clothes after losing all that weight, but that’s one thing you’ll just have to put up with  ; )</p>
<p>So consider all these issues when considering starting this diet protocol. It works and the benefits are amazing. Get started before it’s too late.</p>

<p>It was fascinating and fun to see some actual data. What they found might be a big key to helping you on the HCG diet or any diet for that matter. It will at least help you from gaining weight back after the diet.</p>
<p>So what did they find? Well, the study found that “high neurotic” and “impulsive” people are far more likely to have big gains in their weight. They looked at certain behaviors like binge eating and other such impulsive eating behaviors and sought out what caused them.</p>
<p>They found that those who were not prone to impulsive behavior, and were more thoughtful, tended to be skinnier and to avoid weight gain.</p>
<p>The reasons behind this are fairly obvious if you’ve watched yourself dieting and tried to keep the weight off. For example, if you keep a food journal and watch everything you eat with a watchful eye you will notice that you just tend to lose weight and to keep it off. It’s when we aren’t thinking about what we are doing, and just eating out of habit and getting out of control that we start to gain weight and spiral back to where we were before.</p>
<p>This little action of writing down what we eat seems so extremely simple but as you can see it is very powerful from a psychological perspective.</p>
<p>They also found that people who are cynical and aggressive tended to be about 22 pounds heavier than those who were calm and optimistic.</p>
<p>I see this a lot in my daily interactions with dieters. I find those who don’t do very well are those who are cynical and have very bad attitudes before starting. Those that are calm and optimistic for positive changes on the HCG diet tend to do FAR better. In fact it’s so powerful that I can easily spot those that will do well and those that will struggle with the diet plan.</p>
<p>So what should you do if you are a cynical, aggressive, or compulsive person? Well I think the firs step is to recognize it. Once you do you are past the first step and can now look for solutions. You then need to start writing down everything. Get out your frustrations on paper and also keep a log of what you are eating. This will help keep the compulsive behavior down while also helping relax you.</p>
<p>In the study they mentioned competitive behavior as a negative. I think if you use your competitive nature in the right way it can actually be really positive. For example, if you do the diet with several friends and make a bet on who will win can really help you keep motivated and on track. A little friendly competition is always a lot of fun.</p>
<p>So there you have it. Your thoughts and attitudes do effect your weight and can determine how successful you are on the HCG drops. So do your best to cultivate a optimistic and calm attitude towards your diet and you will do far better.</p>

<p>The first thing you should decide is which method is best for you. Do you want to do oral drops or the HCG injections? As you can probably tell by the name of my blog, I like the HCG diet drops. But the injections work well too. But you will have to find a doctor to prescribe it for you, or get it overseas (not recommended!).</p>
<p>So think about if you want to use a needle or just drop it into your mouth. Think about which would be more convenient. Some people do find injections more convenient for them because it is only once in the morning, while the drops is 3 times a day. But personally it’s not a big deal and takes a couple seconds.</p>
<p>Then you need to figure out who to choose to get your HCG drops from. This is very important as all HCG is NOT created equal and every company certainly isn’t created equal in how much help they will give you.</p>
<p>So first, is their HCG coming from a United States lab that has gone through the FDA certification process? This is important and will make sure your product is safe to take. Second, do they have a coaching area and a place to get help? This is probably the most important issue. You WILL have questions. The place I use, which is found on the main page of this site, has the only private HCG support community I know of. It’s nice to be able to login and ask questions anytime, anyplace and get a good answer, not from some stranger on a random site. So make sure the support is there because you will need it.</p>
<p>Also, do you see positive results from their clients? Do you know someone who has used their product? Do they have a Facebook page with real people commenting? These are all the things I looked for before deciding on who to use. Most people find out about this diet from a friend or family member, so most of you are covered. But if not then do look for those indicators of legitimacy.</p>
<p>Another important issue is the one of a money-back guarantee. Do they know their product works and put their money behind it? The people I used have a double money-back guarantee so I knew I was covered there. But work with whatever guarantee you feel comfortable with. You still need to DO the diet correctly, but if so they should cover their product and guarantee you will lose the weight if you do your part in following the diet plan.</p>
<p>And then if you are really skeptical you can also email them. A good test is do they have some sort of contact page somewhere on their site. Do they have a phone number? Do they have live chat or a way to email them? Just make sure you can contact them and get a response sometime that day. This way you know you’ll be able to get help when needed.</p>
<p>And the last issue, are you getting a high quality product? You truly get what you pay for in this area. Don’t go cheap, I hear bad stories everyday from people getting cheap products that just aren’t up to par with the higher quality HCG.</p>
<p>So look for these indicators when choosing the right HCG for your diet plan.</p>

<p>But what do you do now? How do you make sure the weight NEVER comes back? How do you make sure you never go back to old habits?</p>
<p>There are many techniques but lets cover just a few that will make sure your weight loss stays lost forever.</p>
<p>The first key is awareness. Be aware of what you are eating and how much. Remember that food journal you kept during the diet? Well don’t put it away. Keep it around while you are transitioning back to a normal diet. Keep track of all food put in your mouth. Write it down. Too time consuming? Try this trick, pull out your camera on your phone and take a picture of everything you eat. Review it nightly and look at all the food you ate. Doing something as simple as this will keep the your food intake a lot lower and healthier than not doing it. It’s so simple, that’s why so many people don’t do it. But it is effective so do it!</p>
<p>The next key is find a physical activity you love doing. Get to the gym, get out side and walk, and make a habit of whatever it is. Pretty soon you will find it’s harder NOT to do your new healthy habit. And that’s a good thing! When you get active you’ll find yourself making healthier choices and for better reasons than just to look good. You’ll want to improve your heath so you can perform better. Building muscles will also be good to help speed up your metabolism and keep the weight from coming back.</p>
<p>Another important key is to give up the calorie drinking. You can get away with eating almost anything in moderation. But I do find that drinking calories, yes, even diet soda, is one of the worst and most addictive thing you can do. Avoid it at all costs. Don’t make exceptions, just get over it and never do it again. It will be hard at first but worth every second of it. You’ll learn to love water again and you’ll thank me later.</p>
<p>And the last step which seems easy but is often overlooked is to eat 3 healthy meals a day. Don’t skip meals! I can’t tell you how many people who are overweight tell me they hardly ever eat. What they do is skip breakfast, and most of lunch by just lightly snacking, then they gorge themselves at dinner. Not good! Eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and make good choices. Doing this seems so simple, but it works. So don’t skip meals, it will just get you in trouble. It’s not about skipping food to keep weight off, it’s about making the right choices about food. You can literally eat yourself skinny if you make the right choices.</p>
<p>That’s about all I’ll cover today. You might have said, “I’ve heard all this before.” Well maybe you have, but are you doing it? Probably not. So put these into your life right now and you just watch the weight stay off for years to come. It works, you just have to do it.</p>

<p>Everyone has their opinions. Everyone. Especially those who don’t know a single thing about health, weight loss, or the HCG diet.  They say things like it’s dangerous, or a scam, or you don’t need it, or whatever. They just seem hell-bent on making sure you don’t do it or you quit now. There are some supporters out there, hold onto them, they are useful. But why are there so many people talking down about dieting, or weight loss, or any lofty goal you attempt to achieve.</p>
<p>There are many reasons, but lets cover just a few.</p>
<p>First off, when you are looking to improve yourself, it makes others around you feel uncomfortable. Because if you can do it, then they no longer have any excuse but to do the same, but they are lazy and they love having their own internal story and excuses to keep action and change from happening in their lives. So they unknowingly try to call whatever you are attempting a sham. Or tell you it won’t work. Or it will work but it wont stick. Whatever. They just don’t want you to do it. I have heard several stories from people who have friends who are extremely overweight tell them not to do this diet or that diet. In fact in one situation a lady had a friend who was over 300 pounds and she was saying how the HCG diet wasn’t good. Had she tried the diet? No, of course not, she has her excuses and she’s sticking to them. But luckily this lady recognized how ridiculous it was to take advice about weight loss from someone who knew nothing about it. So she did the diet, was extremely successful and was so happy she did not listen to anyone except those who supported her. This situation is more common than you could imagine, unfortunately most people let the negative influences in their life win.</p>
<p>Another reason why people try to bring you down is that they want to feel important and come off like they know more than you. They say things like, “oh I heard about that, it doesn’t work” and on and on. But of course when you ask for details they don’t even know how the diet works. In fact if you asked them about how our bodies worked and how weight loss is achieved they couldn’t answer that either. They might try to fake it but you can easily see right through them. There just seems to be a section of people who are determined on trying to destroy anything you might bring up. And more than just dieting, I mean anything. They are inherently negative people and you should avoid them at all costs.</p>
<p>The list goes on. I can name 4-5 more just off the top of my head. I know it well because I get a lot of comments on my site. Most are positive people telling me about their success or asking questions.  And I love those comments and that’s why I started this site in the first place. But about 5% of comments are from people writing in all CAPS, using a lot of exclamation points (do you really need more than one?), and saying all sorts of crazy things. You know one thing that they all have in common? They don’t provide any evidence or logical thinking, they just give their opinion, and don’t even back it up with a “why”. They just yell. If they actually had some point to make with facts, I would approve their comment and have a healthy discussion. But they NEVER do. Never. And so they get deleted. If you’ve ever had a website on a topic that is controversial and you allow comments, you will be SHOCKED at how many weirdoes come out of the word-work.</p>
<p>So you need a little bit of thick skin if you ever want to achieve your dreams. So please, please ignore the haters and the negative people out there. They aren’t trying to make you happy, in fact quite the opposite. Follow YOUR dreams and achieve YOUR goals. Success can’t be argued against, even though they might try. Good luck!</p>

<p>Well it’s a good question and the answer is, it depends.</p>
<p>It depends on whom you are planning on using if you choose to do it at home. Some places are great with a great product and support, while others have terrible HCG and no support at all, not good!</p>
<p>I can’t tell you how many times I get emails saying, “I’ve started but I don’t know what to eat, can you tell me what to eat on this diet?” Seriously? You’ve started but have no idea what you are doing? Stop right now and get the instructions. Talk with whom you are working with and get help! The problem is most of these people found a cheap HCG product and bought it without thinking of coaching and support. A lot of places say they have support, but when you try to get help they aren’t anywhere to be found. Plus, cheap HCG is an oxymoron. HCG is NOT cheap and you should be suspect of cheap products.</p>
<p>The place I used has a members area where you can login and talk with coaches and the other people on the diet anytime. It’s nice because when you have questions you need answers, and not just from some stranger on a free site. This is only for their clients so you know they monitor everything and give you the best advice and answers.</p>
<p>So before choosing a provider make sure they are good. Do they answer emails? Do they have a guarantee? If so what kind? Don’t be cheap, this is your health, you need a great product and the tools to be successful. Also ask who you are working with if their HCG comes from a FDA approved lab in the USA. Don’t get some crappy product from China that doesn’t go through the rigorous safety standards of the FDA.</p>
<p>So make sure you know all the details of who you are working with and that they actually HELP their clients be successful and aren’t just out to make a quick sale and to disappear.</p>
<p>Also make sure you know what loading is, the low calorie phase is and what foods and how much, and also maintenance phase and even beyond. Does the place you plan on working with help you AFTER the diet? You need to make sure you know what you are doing after the HCG diet.</p>
<p>So if you do that right and do our research then you can go it at home. If you want to use a clinic you can do that but realize you’ll have to travel there, pay a lot more, and probably get the same results, if not worse results because if you have a question at night you won’t be able to contact someone. But if you have support online then you can login and get help now. So there are pros to doing it at home. Consider it before you pay a lot at a clinic.</p>

<li>Know your “Why”</li>

<p>Why are you doing this diet? To just lose weight? How much weight? When do you want to achieve it? Do you want to fit into a specific pair of jeans? Do you want to run a marathon? Do you just want to look good naked? Whatever it is you need to know it and write it down. If you don’t have a clear reason why you will give up at the first sign of adversity.</p>

<p>This is especially true about the HCG diet. Prepare those meals ahead of time or at least cut up your protein and have it weighed out so you can throw it on the grill. No one is paying that close of attention, and if they are and judge you for it then why would you care about such a pathetic person? Relax, no one notices and if they do they don’t care. People are too worried about themselves to give you situation much though. So don’t cheat, it’s not worth it and you don’t have to.</p>

<li>If you do cheat, do it small and then get back on track</li>

<p>It’s rarely worth it to cheat. But if you must then have a bite or two then move on. If you go crazy and have a lot more, then just get back on track and forgive yourself. Most people after going crazy decide to give up. Don’t! Just because you made a mistake doesn’t mean you should give up. Giving up won’t help you lose weight.</p>

<li>Get rid of the bad food BEFORE you start</li>
</ol>
<p>It’s hard enough to be on a diet with all the ads on TV and what your kids are eating. So to make it easier on yourself make sure to remove temptation from the house. Get rid of all the bad food and drinks. Get rid of coupons for fast food. Turn the TV off. Get rid of that secret stash you have. I know most people say “well I’m saving it for later, I don’t want to waste it.” Don’t kid yourself. Get rid of it now so you don’t have to deal with it.</p>

<li>Drink a lot of water, then drink some more.</li>
</ol>
<p>If you get hungry then drink your water. You should have your water bottle with you at all times. You’ll be amazed at how much water will help you not only stave off hunger, but make you feel better and lose weight quicker. So keep you water with you at all times and take a drink when you are feeling like cheating or you are hungry. It helps a ton!</p>

<li>Keep going no matter what</li>
</ol>
<p>We all make mistakes and we all run into situations that are tough. Just remember to keep going. Quitting doesn’t help. Keep going until you hit that goal. You can do this and it’s so worth it.</p>

I get emails from around the world and know that I’m helping people learn about something that has changed many lives. I also get “thank you’s” from around the world and people tell me how this has improved their life.</p>
<p>But I also get emails from people that I can see a problem. It’s a very common mistake that a lot of people are making on the diet and on the HCG drops that I really want to address so everyone is completely clear on this.</p>
<p>And that is everything that happens to you while on the HCG diet or drops does NOT mean it was caused by the diet or drops, good or bad.</p>
<p>I can’t tell you how many comments or emails I get asking about what to do about X because it started around the same time of the diet. Listen, just because you are on a new diet and health product doesn’t mean that it caused any problem or benefit.</p>
<p>I think this comes down to almost a superstition and our brain’s desire for cause and effect.</p>
<p>Let me give you an example. A women emailed me saying that she had gotten a sore throat and was achy and felt nauseous. She was quick to blame it on the HCG drops and the diet she was on. I informed her that the drops don’t have that side effect and it sounded like she was just getting the flu. It happens, people get sick. She didn’t really believe me but then came back to confirm that she went off the diet and the drops and she was indeed just sick. So continued the diet after she was better and did just fine.</p>
<p>Another example, which is very common, is they might have a condition and it happens to go away while on the diet. Does that mean the HCG diet cured them of this condition? NO! I’ll say it again just to be clear, just because you are on the diet and the drops or even injections does NOT mean that every little thing that happens to you during that time is an effect from them. I have had people claiming that HCG cures diseases. Well I hate to bring bad news but it does not. HCG helps with the hunger and targeting the correct fat to lose while on the diet. That’s it.</p>
<p>So the next time you are thinking, or hearing a story of someone who believes that the HCG diet causes this or that, just remember these little examples and that they are probably just coincidences. I get people telling me all the time about side effects and dangers of the diet. But when I look for hard evidence I can’t find any! In fact I speak with thousands of people about the diet and here 99% good things, the other 1% who try to blame everything on the diet. It’s just a fact of being human that we are always looking for the cause of something. But remember, the diet is probably not the cause of anything other than weight loss!</p>

I think this happens because someone out there is spreading false information in hopes to confusion and control us. It works and it helps sell other products but it is nonetheless annoying and unethical.</p>
<p>Anyway. The new question I’ve been getting a lot lately is whether or not the HCG diet effects fertility and the ability to have children in the future. Specifically I get asked if the diet or HCG will make it more difficult to have children in the future.</p>
<p>And the answer is no.</p>
<p>Doing the HCG diet or taking HCG will not hinder your ability to have children in the future.</p>
<p>In fact losing weight while on the diet will actually increase the likelihood of having children. The reason behind that is when you are overweight it makes it more difficult to conceive. In fact I get people telling me almost daily that they are considering this diet because their doctor ordered them, not just told them, but ordered them to lose weight before they start to try and get pregnant.</p>
<p>So that’s a bonus.</p>
<p>Another bonus is HCG is a hormone-like substance that is present during pregnancy and women who are having a hard time getting pregnant are actually prescribed HCG to help them conceive. Now don’t think that the HCG diet is going to make you pregnant, you will be taking a MUCH lower dose for diet purposes, especially the oral <a title="hcg drops" href="http://www.hcgdropshelp.com">HCG drops</a> which I like better over injections. So as long as you are on a reliable birth control method you won’t have to worry about getting pregnant.</p>
<p>So the HCG diet is pretty much neutral in the issue of fertility. It can help increase your chances some even and it’s healthy in the long term. So ignore the false information out there that claims it has negative effects because it doesn’t.</p>
<p>The next time you hear a claim made like that always ask them for some kind of proof. And I don’t mean a “study” done by some random scientist in some unknown country. And I don’t mean proof like, “Well I heard from my friend who has a friend who has a sister who said that she heard…” I mean verifiable hard data.</p>
